SFの世界を舞台としたロボットアクションシューティングゲームです。
プレイヤーはキーボードを使ってロボット兵器を操り、敵軍との戦争に勝利することが目的となっています。
数多くのゲームモードを搭載しており、ゲーム中にアニメーションが流れるといった演出も加えています。また、2人対戦も可能となっています。

【プロローグ】
宇宙新世紀・・・・地球の環境汚染や、増えすぎた人口による問題を解決すべく、スペースコロニーによって、生活圏を宇宙にまで拡大した時代。しかし、それでも人類は戦争という武力手段を捨てずにいた。

宇宙新世紀1089年、主に月面に最も近いコロニー群が、これまで地球から月面まで管理していた特殊治安連邦組織、「S.P.F.O.」に対し、クーデターを起こし、後に
「国家独立戦争」と呼ばれる大規模な宇宙戦争に発展した。
2年間の戦いの末、「ヴォルティック連合国」と「ガルネシア連邦国」が誕生し、長い間、S.P.F.O.、ヴォルティック、ガルネシアは互いににらみ合いながら自分自身の領土を維持しつづけていた。

国家独立戦争から10年後の宇宙新世紀1101年、ヴォルティック連合国は、世界平和のための人類統一という名目でS.P.F.O.および、ガルネシア領土に侵攻を開始した。
だが、それは実際には己の私利私欲ための領土拡大にしか過ぎず、ガルネシア連邦もまた、領土と資源確保そして、ヴォルティックへの抵抗のため、侵攻を開始し、宇宙は再び戦争による混乱の渦に巻き込まれていくことになる。
S.P.F.O.は両軍の地球側への侵略阻止のために対抗したが、戦局は一進一退となり、戦いは泥沼化していった。

宇宙新世紀1102年、泥沼化した戦局を一変させる一つの方法として、S.P.F.O.は新型兵器を開発し、戦場に投入し始めた。
これは新型兵器のパイロットに選ばれた若きS.P.F.O.の兵士の物語である。
